Overview
As a Boutique Manager, you will champion Guerlain's values, both to our clientele and your team. Reporting to the Retail Director, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and executing the company's strategic vision within your boutique. You will lead and develop your team, fostering a customer-centric environment in all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Elevated Customer Experience: Lead by example to deliver unparalleled customer experiences, embodying the "Dare to Bee" sales philosophy. Focus on attracting, developing, and retaining loyal Guerlain customers. Proactively address and resolve customer issues with speed and efficiency.
- Business Performance & Strategy: Implement Guerlain's policies to achieve sales targets and P&L objectives, managing budgets responsibly. Analyze KPIs, generate reports, and spearhead action plans, initiatives, and partnerships to maximize results.
- Team Leadership & Development: Onboard, coach, and train new employees, cultivating a positive and collaborative team environment. Set clear objectives, conduct performance evaluations, identify training opportunities, and collaborate with HR to address issues. Ensure adherence to operational procedures and policies.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, training, and uniform management. Manage boutique maintenance, vendor relationships, and risk / security protocols, including cash handling and inventory control.
- Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards: Maintain impeccable boutique presentation, adhere to Guerlain's visual merchandising guidelines, and ensure the team's professional appearance. Collaborate with support teams on merchandising implementation.
Qualifications
- Customer-Focused Expertise: Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in a luxury retail environment is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a team with dynamic, empathetic leadership.
- Business Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Commercially savvy and results-oriented. Experience managing a budget is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with business management applications is a plus.
