A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled professional for the maintenance and repair of industrial boilers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, expertise in installation and commissioning, and strong diagnostic skills. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics and repairs, planning installations, and maintaining detailed records. This role is contract-based and does not allow for remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial boilers.
• Expertise in boiler installation and replacement with knowledge of commissioning procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform thorough diagnostics to identify malfunctions in boilers and associated systems.
  • Repair or replace defective components including burners heat exchangers pumps and control systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance operations to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools to monitor boiler performance and anticipate maintenance needs.
  • Maintain uptodate maintenance records and write detailed reports on interventions performed.
• Installation and Replacement:
  • Plan and execute the installation of new boilers in incinerators adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate the replacement of existing boilers minimizing service interruptions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of new installations.
  • Perform commissioning tests to ensure the proper functioning of new boilers and compliance with performance requirements.
  • Train staff on the use and maintenance of new installations.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering thermal engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experiencein the maintenance and repair of industrial boilers preferably in incinerators.
• Expertise in boiler installation and replacement with indepth knowledge of commissioning procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Boiler maintenance certification (a plus).
• CICPA qualification
