Blast furnace worker vacancy in Sharjah UAE

Blast Furnace Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnace equipment to melt and process iron ore into molten iron. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and includes free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate blast furnace equipment including charging, tapping, and maintaining proper temperatures
- Monitor and adjust controls to maintain proper flow of materials and gases
- Monitor furnace operations to ensure safety procedures are followed
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during operations
- Maintain accurate production records
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Blast Furnace Operator
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations, including charging, tapping, temperature maintenance, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be physically fit as the job requires lifting heavy materials
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- Fluent in English communication
