Candidates should have a technical certification in Automotive Technology along with at least two years of inspection experience. The Quality Controller in the Service Department is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles entering the workshop are returned to customers in excellent condition following service or repair. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturer standards and strict adherence to internal quality benchmarks to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include conducting post‑repair inspections and identifying any quality issues to ensure all work meets the required standards before the vehicle is delivered back to the customer.
Conduct dynamic road tests on completed vehicles to evaluate all the customer complaints are attended by the Technicians and fixed as per the manufacturer standards.
In addition, Road testing checklist must be maintained properly and attached with the job file.
As part of the Quality controller responsibility, to comply with the daily throughput you must be strictly somewhere between 20‑25 vehicles per day.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during road testing.
Exterior and interior visual checks.
Fluid levels and leaks.
Lighting and electrical system verification.
Functionality of dashboard indicators and infotainment systems.
Tire condition and pressure.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, defect‑free, and ready for customer delivery.
Collaborate with technicians to report defects and verify corrections.
Complete inspection reports and update internal tracking systems.
Flag critical issues immediately to workshop Manager or Team leaders.
Maintain proper documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
Any customer valuables inside the car must be reported to the service advisors or Team leaders immediately.
To be a successful Quality Controller, you should demonstrate strong automotive knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
High school diploma or technical certification in Automotive Technology or a related field. Valid UAE driving license.
Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive inspection, testing, or technician roles.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and basic diagnostics.
High attention to detail with the ability to identify minor defects.
Comfortable working in fast‑paced workshop environments.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shift‑based schedules if required.
Physically fit and compliant with PPE and workshop safety regulations.
Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and inspection reporting.
Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to follow strict procedures and safety protocols.
Effective time management under daily throughput targets.
Clear communication and accurate reporting.
Customer‑focused mindset with accountability and ownership.
Team‑oriented with adaptability and result‑driven attitude.
