Job description

The role will be responsible for supporting CEMEA Hub FPA Team during financial planning analysis and management of operating expenses and workforce planning. The key focus is on driving continuous improvement in financial processes, systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Support ad hoc monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis and reports used by the Regional CFO, Subregional teams and other departments.
  • Evaluate existing models, reports and templates; identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies; develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Work with the IT team to deliver and support the Subregional and Hub teams with financial systems: understand requirements, gather user feedback, and deliver enhancements across current work practices.
  • Support the CEMEA Hub FPA Team in analyzing business trends, assessing macroeconomic metrics and contributing to the development of complex models used in budgeting, forecasting and deal modelling.
  • Business partnering: collaborate with several Corporate Functions to provide financial guidance and support decision‑making by providing financial analysis, monitoring and controlling operating expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic goals.
  • Workforce planning: partner with People teams and members of a broader CEMEA Finance Team to develop and maintain workforce plans, analyse workforce data, and identify trends and variances vs Budget and Forecast.
  • Show initiative and creativity in developing innovative solutions, obtain input and feedback from users, and manage implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Teamwork
  • The role is based at the CEMEA Market Support Center Dubai office and reports to the CEMEA Head of FPA based in the same office.
  • Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and cooperating with colleagues and providing cover during periods of absence.
  • Flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad‑hoc projects.
  • Expected to interact effectively with various levels of Visa management and multi‑regional staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to address ongoing needs of a complex matrix reporting structure and multinational organization.
  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills essential, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Associate – Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate – 2 or more years of work experience; Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field; 12 years of related Finance experience in a multinational organization (preferably the Payments industry); Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; Exceptional report modelling and data management skills; Detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality; Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Excellent organization, prioritisation and multitasking skills; Strong PC and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint); Knowledge of financial systems (TM1, Hyperion, etc. preferred.
