Our client, one of the worlds leading Internet Marketplace Platform companies, is currently hiring for an Associate, Accounting & Reporting to to join their EMEA Reporting & Compliance Team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and ensure their availability for CIT return filings.
  • Oversee junior staff involved in journal postings to prevent inaccuracies.
  • Ensure timely provision of data for transfer pricing local files, collaborating with internal teams and responding to continuous follow-ups.
  • Address and rectify discrepancies in intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation and booking.
  • Assist in establishing controls over journal entry postings and ensure all data sent to the team is reviewed by senior personnel.
  • Maintain a calendar for ongoing audits of financial statements, coordinating with the CT team on expected timelines for audit report availability.
  • Support the CT team in owning accounting journals, including tax-related entries, ensuring alignment with the tax team.
Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA / CA / ACCA / equivalent qualification preferred

This is an immediate start contract position for a minimum period of 6 months, which may extend up to 2 years.

This is an Independent contractor engagement and you would be responsible for paying all necessary taxes in‑country.
