Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Dubai, UAE to support the Store Manager in delivering sales performance, customer experience, team effectiveness, and compliant day-to-day store operations. The role contributes directly to achieving commercial targets while maintaining the required brand and company standards. As deputy to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will take responsibility for the store and its workforce when the Store Manager is absent. The position requires hands-on retail leadership, close monitoring of KPIs, effective coordination with support functions, and a consistent focus on customer service and profitable store performance.

Store Leadership and Customer Experience

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service standards.
• Support exceptional customer experiences through a clear understanding of company and brand customer experience standards.
• Ensure the team recognizes individual customer needs and remains aware of relevant market and competitor trends.
• Drive consistent delivery of high customer service standards across store operations.
• Support and develop store employees to contribute to sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Provide day-to-day direction to the team and maintain effective store performance.
• Assume responsibility for store operations and the workforce in the Store Manager 's absence.

Sales and Commercial Performance

• Drive sales performance and identify opportunities for business improvement.
• Maintain awareness of established KPI targets and take appropriate action to support their achievement.
• Implement and manage sales promotions and brand activities.
• Communicate promotional activities with relevant support teams to maximize sales opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with Buying and Planning teams to identify and maximize commercial opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication around product, sales, and operational requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Build and maintain professional working relationships with internal support teams.
• Provide relevant feedback to Marketing, Buying, and Planning functions to support store performance, promotional execution, customer requirements, and commercial decision-making.

Store Operations and Compliance

• Maintain smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Manage potential operational disruptions promptly, particularly when acting in place of the Store Manager.
• Implement and maintain compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
• Support measures designed to minimize stock loss and product damage.
• Maintain the required company and brand image throughout store operations.
• Ensure operational activities remain aligned with Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle business objectives.
