Job summary

A human resources consulting firm is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager in Ras al-Khaimah. This role involves coordinating procurement activities, preparing MIS reports, conducting market research, and negotiating supplier contracts. Ideal candidates will have 8–15 years of procurement experience and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain. Strong skills in MS Office, Power BI, and SAP are required. Job description

The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement activities.

  • Preparing comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards for procurement, including PowerBI, procurement automation, cost-saving analysis, and outsourcing strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on Capex and project statuses, conducting monthly training sessions, and holding weekly meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of procurement plans and strategies.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Preferable)
  • 8 – 15 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement position.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement practices
  • Strong technical skills in MS Office, Power Bi, Excel and SAP
  • Proven experience in Procuring Raw Materials in a Manufacturing environment or similar
