Job Purpose

The Assistant Operations Manager supports the Deputy and Operations Managers in executing operational plans, managing daily activities, and ensuring service excellence across all guest touchpoints. The role also assists with team supervision and logistics.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Daily Operations
    • Execute routine duties as per departmental SOPs.
    • Monitor area cleanliness, guest service, and queue flow.
    • Report incidents and escalating issues when necessary.
  2. Team Support & Coordination
    • Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
    • Support new staff orientation and daily task assignments.
    • Provide shift handover details accurately.
  3. Customer Service
    • Assist guests with directions, services, or concerns.
    • Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude.
    • Handle complaints with professionalism and elevate as needed.
  4. Health, Safety, and Hygiene
    • Follow all safety and hygiene standards.
    • Ensure guest zones are safe and hazard-free.
    • Comply with PPE requirements and cleanliness protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Knowledge of procurement software and financial management systems.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, operations, or customer service.
  • Hands‑on experience in dealing with guests, handling equipment, or operating a point‑of‑sale system (as applicable).
  • Familiarity with operational procedures and reporting.
