Role Overview

The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the Marketing & Communications department across all core functions including marketing campaigns PR coordination brand communications digital content and social media. This role helps ensure our messaging is consistent refined and aligned with Banyan Trees identity while supporting the delivery of meaningful guest-facing stories and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Support
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and materials across Rooms F&B and Banyan Tree Spa Dubai.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information ensure accurate messaging and support campaign rollouts.
  • Work with creative partners to produce assets such as menus photography videos and digital materials.
  • Support the planning of seasonal promotions brand initiatives partnerships and in-house activations.
  • Help manage project timelines approvals and asset distribution across relevant platforms.
Communications & PR Coordination
  • Support PR agency with information for press releases updating media kits and ensuring agency has all info required for story angles.
  • Coordinate media and influencer visits ensuring itineraries and host departments are aligned.
  • Assist with reputation management across guest platforms ensuring timely thoughtful responses with cross-department coordination.
Digital Marketing Support
  • Assist in managing e-newsletters WhatsApp Messaging CRM updates and database segmentation.
  • Help ensure hotel information offers and imagery remain consistent across websites OTAs and partner platforms.
Social Media Shoot Planning & Content Coordination
  • Support the planning coordination and execution of monthly content shoots across Rooms F&B Spa and Experiences.
  • Assist with content calendars ensuring a balance of brand storytelling seasonal moments and product-led content.
  • Work with photographers videographers and the Marketing Manager to brief shot lists and ensure all assets remain on-brand.
  • Upload and schedule content as needed on Meta TikTok and other relevant platforms.
  • Handle community management via Sprout Social and guest engagement with the brand voice in mind.
  • Maintain a structured content library for efficient use across future campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Support the preparation of monthly marketing reports across earned owned and paid channels.
  • Track KPIs such as reach engagement web traffic conversion indicators and media value.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance ongoing and future marketing efforts.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Build strong internal relationships with Rooms F&B Spa and Events teams.
  • Coordinate with external agencies creative partners and brand teams at corporate level.
  • Assist with presentations and updates for senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 24 years of experience in marketing or communications ideally within luxury hospitality lifestyle sectors. Experience assisting with content shoots or managing social platforms is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications PR Digital Media or a related field.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing skills.
  • Creative thinker with a good eye for visuals and brand alignment.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple tasks and working under pressure.
  • Positive collaborative and solutions-oriented.
  • Proficiency with social media tools Canva/Adobe Microsoft Office and basic analytics platforms.
