Position Summary

The Assistant Manager - Academic Services is responsible to support students throughout their academic experience from admission to graduation. The incumbent is responsible to manage academic services within the campus including, but not limited to, admission and registration of students, scheduling of classes and exams, maintenance of student records, and processing of documentation in an effective and efficient manner in close coordination with Student Affairs Central Services.

Manage the timely, effective and efficient response to inquiries and resolution of issues related to student admission and registration in collaboration with Student Affairs Central Services.

Oversee the development and maintenance of an up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive student database including, but not limited to, personal details, grades and registration data of current and former students; collaborate with Student Affairs Central Services for consolidation purposes.

  • Manage the issuance of academic transcripts, graduation certificates and letters of completion to students in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
  • Generate periodic reports and communicate to Student Affairs Central Services; this includes, but is not limited to, student transcripts, students’ schedules, registration, grades, withdrawal reports, faculty workload.
  • Monitor the provision of ID cards to students within the campus.
  • Work closely with faculty members for the provision of information, documents and reports as and when needed.
  • Manage the formal evaluation of student eligibility for graduation in a timely, effective and efficient manner. Provide recommendations to students and academic advisors as and when needed to meet degree requirements.
  • Monitor the identification of IELTS applicants in each programme, the registration of students for IELTS exams and, the validation of IELTS results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to students for academic matters on a continuous basis.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Business Administration.
  • Full English proficiency is required.
  • Advanced computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, Banner, etc.
