Job description

Role description

We are looking for a proactive and hands‑on Application Assistant to join our dynamic this role you will be an essential part of the Application department supporting experimental trials collecting data and helping to maintain the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will bring a background in laboratory applications and work closely with our Application Technologists to ensure the smooth completion of daily lab activities.

Your Mission

• Assist in the preparation of F&B products.
• Support in the preparation of tasting sessions.
• Prepare customer samples including labelling packaging and coordination of shipping.
• Ensure all applications adhere to quality and safety standards set by the company.
• Oversee inventory management and raw material orders.
• Assist in laboratory experiments and collect data for analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean and organised workspace with weekly deep cleaning of workstation.
• Operate and maintain of the available equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Food Science Chemistry or Food Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an application assistant application technician or any other relevant title within the flavour or F&B industry.
• Good understanding of ingredients F&B recipe formulation and processing.
• Good communication skills in English any other language is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in using laboratory equipment and conducting experiments.
• Experience in an application laboratory or within a research environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Good sensory evaluation skills.
• Highly motivated proactive and a collaborative team player with a hands‑on mentality.
• Well‑versed in O365 applications especially Excel and web‑based research.
