Job summary

A leading aviation support company is seeking an Airframe Technical Advisor based in Dubai to be the primary contact for clients. Responsibilities include managing routine and unscheduled client needs, assisting with major scheduled inspections, and developing strong client relationships. Candidates should have Airframe and Powerplant ratings, a Bachelor's degree in aviation, and at least 10 years of experience with corporate turbine-powered aircraft, preferably with Gulfstream and Bombardier. Fluency in English is required.

Position Summary

The Airframe Technical Advisor is the primary contact for Clients and will handle their needs on routine, minor, unscheduled, major, scheduled and AOG events.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Heavily involved in helping plan for major scheduled inspections in addition to assisting with the immediate logistics as they pertain to unscheduled events.
  • On‑site representation especially with respect to major scheduled inspections.
  • Create Service Calls that aid in the tracking of technical data and financial forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through periodic contact.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with regional service facilities, mobile repair teams, etc.
  • Research logbooks and/or conduct visual inspections for new enrollments or existing contracts.
  • Review and process invoices in AMS meeting turn time goals set forth by Technical Services Management and policy.
  • Responsible for event triage, assessing and ensuring each situation is handled appropriately.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the current contract policies and procedures.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Technical Services Management.
Education and Experience
  • Dubai based position
  • Airframe and Powerplant ratings required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) in an Aviation Field preferred
  • 10 years experience with corporate turbine‑powered business aircraft (not commercial) preferred with particular expertise working with Gulfstream and Bombardier airframes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and write articulately and analytically.
  • Clear understanding of relevant technical skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work well under pressure.
  • Well organized.
  • Have or be able to obtain a passport and perform international travel.
  • Fluency in English is required for effective communication in this role.
