STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Interior Painters and Preppers to join its growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates . This role supports interior painting and finishing operations within our Paint Workshop and plays a key role in delivering high-quality aircraft interiors that meet strict aviation standards.

Reporting to the Paint Workshop Manager, successful candidates will work in a fast‑paced MRO environment where precision, safety, and professionalism matter every day.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Interior Painter / Prepper is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft interior components in accordance with approved drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires hands‑on technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of each shift.
• Perform paint preparation activities to the highest standards.
• Interpret and apply the latest revision drawings and masking procedures.
• Apply epoxy and filler primers as required
• Apply basecoats and topcoats in accordance with approved work instruction sheets.
• Perform wet and dry paint thickness measurements and adhesion checks and record results.
• Carry out all work in compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and airport regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD‑free work environment before, during, and after tasks.
• Conduct work in a professional manner when interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Stay current on Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and relevant technical updates.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and job performance.
• Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in line with quality and procedural requirements.
• Follow the Safety and Quality Management Plan and actively support workplace safety initiatives.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.

Skills and Experience

• Strong background in auto body repair and painting or equivalent training.
• Experience working with fiberglass and composite filling and finishing techniques.
• Minimum of two years of aircraft painting and finishing experience.
• Proven experience with both aircraft interior and exterior paint applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Basic English language skills, written and spoken.
• Ability to manage daily workload independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
