A landscaping services company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Landscaping Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations in agriculture and landscaping. This role involves managing irrigation systems, planning seasonal plantings, and supervising a team of workers. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in landscaping or agricultural operations (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and pest control.
• Familiarity with UAE climate and seasonal planting.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Site & Operations

• Supervise daily agricultural and landscaping activities at assigned sites
• Ensure proper planting, irrigation, fertilization, and maintenance of plants, lawns, shrubs, and trees
• Monitor soil conditions, plant health, and growth patterns
• Identify plant diseases, pests, and deficiencies and recommend corrective actions

Irrigation & Water Management

• Monitor and manage irrigation systems (manual & automatic)
• Ensure watering schedules are followed without wastage
• Inspect drip irrigation, sprinklers, valves, and pipelines regularly

Planting & Seasonal Planning

• Plan and implement seasonal flower and plant replacements
• Recommend suitable plant species based on climate, soil, and site conditions
• Ensure all new plant introductions are approved by management

Maintenance & Replacement

• Inspect dead or damaged plants and submit replacement requests
• Ensure replacement of plants is done only after approval
• Maintain records of plant replacements and seasonal changes

Team Supervision

• Guide and supervise gardeners, technicians, and landscaping workers
• Conduct daily morning briefings and work allocations
• Ensure staff follow grooming, safety, and company SOPs

Quality & Client Coordination

• Ensure landscaping work meets client expectations and company standards
• Attend site inspections with clients or management when required
• Address landscaping-related complaints and ensure timely resolution

  Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe working practices
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, PPE, and chemicals

  Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports
  • Maintain records of irrigation schedules, fertilizers, pesticides, and manpower
  • Report operational issues to the Landscape Manager / Operations Manager
