Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements account balances and transactional data to identify discrepancies or trends.

• Reconcile accounts prepare journal entries and assist with monthend and yearend closings.

• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports.

• Maintain and improve accounting systems procedures and controls.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in billing collections and expense tracking.

• Generate periodic financial reports and dashboards for management.

• Identify areas for process improvement and support implementation of best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

• 13 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP QuickBooks Oracle).

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
