Job summary
A global leader in dental solutions located in Somerset West is seeking a Logistics Assistant to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and support logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics, good knowledge of English and Afrikaans, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. - Coordinating outbound and inbound shipments to our customers and transport partners
- Managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks
- Conduct frequent checks of logistics areas to verify that all inventory is accurately packed, labeled, and stored in the correct locations
- Processing and tracking orders in SAP or relevant logistics systems
- Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Monitoring delivery schedules and proactively resolving delays or issues
- Tracking of Loan materials and and arranging for returns from customers with our transport partner
- Organize loan materials and prepare them for the next delivery
- Collaborating with the Customer Service and Operations teams to optimize logistics processes
In this position, you will work in a small, close‑knit team of experts and report to the Head of Operations. Since product and process knowledge is very important in this position, we provide an intensive training program and will teach you all the tricks of the trade in the coming months.
- Experience in a similar logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination role, or experience in the medical/dental industry
- Knowledge of the English and Afrikaans language
- Familiarity with logistics software, SAP, and MS Office (including Excel)
