Finance Business Partner

Our client, a plant equipment manufacturer in Honeydew, is looking to employ a Finance Business Partner.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a full accounting and reporting function including but not limited to:
1. SAP systems management and control for Finance and ML Controlling.
2. Daily, Weekly and Monthly internal business reporting and controlling.
3. Financial control over inventory and assets and monthly assessments.
4. Balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
5. Portfolio Management of internal and external audits, insurance and income tax.
6. Budgeting process for BSAF.
7. Management reporting for Zambia Entity - Posting the bank and Monthly Bank Recons USD+ZMW, Update Fixed Assets register, Petty Cash – recon, Loading Creditors Payments.
8. Checking postings are correct and valid.
9. Manufacturing orders assessment monthly.
10. Stock Movement & Obsolete Stock Management including ensuring all movements are signed off.
11. Actively drive working capital ratios – cash, accounts receivables, accounts payables, stock.
12. Reconcile assets on a quarterly basis to the Asset Register in SAP and report any findings and manage impairments.
13. Administration and management of the stock system, as well as the Stock Count process on an annual basis.
14. Complete a monthly valuation, reach calculation (obsolete stock) and analysis and report on any differences.
15. Assist with the management of the full year end internal and external audit function, report any non-conformances to Management and implement actions for improvements to systems, processes and procedures.
16. Review and management of actuals to budget as well as implement actions for cost reduction for BSAF – BLUS and BJHB.
17. Assist with VAT, Income Tax and Companies Act rules and implementation.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

1. BCOM Completed.
2. 4 – 10 years' Experience.
3. Microsoft Office with high degree of skill on Excel (very important).
4. Internal software exposure: SAP (Key requirement), Hyperion.
5. High level of understanding and control of Business Reporting requirements.
6. Orientation of the problems / logical reasoning.
7. Structuring complex information in terms of their relevance and make a conclusion.
8. Good time management.
9. Capacity to work in an international environment and a matrix organization.
