Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Development Coordinator in Bloemfontein to design, implement, and manage programs aimed at improving education, employability, and personal growth for local youth. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with youth in acoordination/facilitation role (community programs preferred).
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills are essential.
• Organizational skills and time management are required for program coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement youth-focused programs addressing educational and vocational needs.
• Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and mentorship activities.
• Build relationships with schools, community orgs, and local stakeholders for program delivery.
• Recruit, screen, and onboard participants for youth initiatives.
• Provide guidance to youth on personal and educational challenges.
• Organize and supervise youth events and community engagement projects.
• Monitor progress and collect feedback for improvement.
• Assist fundraising by documenting program impact and success stories.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and participant data.
