Job summary

Placements24 client, a respected non-profit focused on youth empowerment in Randburg, seeks a proactive Program Officer to design, implement, and manage programs that foster personal growth, education, and career development for young people in Gauteng.

You will collaborate with schools, community centers, and volunteers, coordinate logistics and budgets, monitor outcomes, and report impact while advocating for youth needs and ensuring programs are accessible and engaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in program coordination or management.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and challenges.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute youth development programs, including workshops, mentoring, and skills training.
• Manage program logistics, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community centers, and youth organizations.
• Recruit, train, and support program participants and volunteers.
• Monitor program activities, collect data, and report on outcomes and impact.
• Facilitate youth engagement and ensure programs are relevant and accessible.
• Advocate for youth needs within the community and with stakeholders.
