Placements24 is seeking a compassionate and proactive HR Advisor based in Randburg, Gauteng, to champion Employee Wellness and Engagement initiatives. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and promoting programs that enhance well-being, engagement, and job satisfaction in a leading financial services firm in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of HR experience focusing on wellness, engagement, or employee relations.
• Experience designing and implementing wellness and engagement programs.
• Knowledge of South African labour laws related to workplace health and safety is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive employee wellness programs covering physical, mental, and financial well-being.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement and build a positive organisational culture.
• Organise and coordinate employee events, workshops, and activities to improve morale and team cohesion.
• Act as a point of contact for employees seeking wellness-related support and guidance.
• Collaborate with external service providers (e.g., EAP providers, health coaches) to deliver wellness services.
• Conduct employee surveys and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver communication campaigns to promote wellness initiatives.
• Support HR in managing employee relations issues with a focus on positive outcomes.
• Track and report on key wellness and engagement metrics.
• Ensure programs comply with health and safety regulations and employment legislation.
