Job summary

MSX International in Gezina, Pretoria, is seeking an experienced Warranty Specialist to manage warranty claims, audits and parts control within our aftersales team.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in automotive, with preference for Ford exposure and DMS familiarity. The role involves data entry, documentation and liaison with OEMs to ensure compliance and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the automotive industry.
• Work experience as a Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk or Technical background in the motor industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on warranties concerns, prepare / customise warranty papers for work.
• Review all warranty claims, administer and submit for warranty approval.
• Monitor repair order completion for authorisation as per warranty requirement.
• Monitor all customer inquiries and requests on warranty issues.
• Communicate warranty programs and bulletins to aftersales staff in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.
• Evaluate databases and complete data entry for warranty claims and filings.
• Manage all warranty claim submission and resubmission as required.
• Prepare documents for warranty audits as per OEM recommendations.
• Manage and upkeep of a warranty parts store in line with OEM specifications.
• Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.
