Job summary

MSX International in Kuilsriver, Western Cape, seeks a Claims & Costing Specialist to manage warranty claims, costing and documentation. You will review claims, coordinate with aftersales, and ensure compliance with OEM warranty specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive service or warranty roles, with experience in DMS systems. Ford experience is preferred. A structured, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience as Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk, or technical background in the motor industry.
• Familiar with DMS systems such as Automate, Evolve, and Kerridge ADP.
• Ford experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on warranty concerns and prepare/customize warranty papers for work.
• Review all warranty claims, administer and submit for warranty approval.
• Monitor repair order completion for authorization as per warranty requirement.
• Monitor all customer inquiries and requests on warranty issues.
• Communicate to all aftersales staff all warranty programs and bulletins in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all warranty specifications.
• Evaluate databases and complete all data entry for warranty claims and filings.
• Manage all warranty claim submission, resubmit claims if required and ensure appropriate action is completed.
• Prepare documents for all warranty audits as per OEM recommendation.
• Manage and upkeep of a warranty parts store in line with OEM manufacturers specification.
• Maintain records of customer details and warrantor reference.
