Warehouse Manager required inMuizenberg, Cape Town.
Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse environment, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time, stock is well managed, and vehicles and equipment remain in working order.
Balance delivery scheduling, inventory control, and team supervision to maintain an organised, safe, and compliant operation.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to keep supply moving smoothly and to uphold best practices across all warehouse functions.
Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 CTC per month.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Logistics Management
- 3–4 years’ proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team (8–10 staff).
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving ability.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to coordinate across suppliers, drivers, and internal departments.
- Software experience required: ERP (Cin7 Core or similar), task management software (ClickUp or equivalent), and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements including workplace safety and food safety standards (FSSC22000).
- Attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and operational discipline.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily delivery routes for retail partners, distribution centres, and export clients.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound collections with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Supervise order picking and dispatch to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date records of order status and stock movement in ERP systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Uphold warehouse organisation, ensuring stock is stored correctly and facilities remain clean.
- Schedule servicing and repairs for warehouse vehicles, forklifts, and equipment.
- Liaise with external service providers for maintenance and authorise necessary work.
- Enforce company policies and health & safety standards in all warehouse practices.
- Manage and develop warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and addressing interpersonal issues where necessary.
- Provide regular updates to the Supply Chain Manager on warehouse performance, risks, and resource needs.
