Job summary

Alliance Foods SA (Pty) Ltd in East London is inviting applications for 20 Trainee Shift Supervisors as part of a development programme within the Operations Department. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, successful incumbents will be developed for future Shift Supervisor roles that may arise in the business.

You will assist with CHAMPS standards, supervise shifts, allocate tasks, uphold safety and maintenance, and contribute to customer service, hospitality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Development programme participation for future supervisory roles
• Ability to work within restaurant policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist the RGM in achieving CHAMPS Standards focusing on cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product and speed of service
• Manage shifts to maximise sales, operating efficiency and profitability
• Allocate responsibilities to each employee on shift and monitor performance
• Ensure maintenance procedures are followed and report required repairs
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed by all staff on shifts
• Report to ARM/RGM on employee relations, customer service and health inspection issues
• Assist in implementing restaurant training programmes to maximise staff performance
• Model and demonstrate How We Win Together at KFC with heart, smart and courage
