Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team in George, Western Cape. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical assistance to users, diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, and guide users through effective solutions to maintain smooth IT operations.

You will install and configure computer systems, manage user accounts, document issues in a knowledge base, and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CompTIA A+ certification desirable.
• Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
