Placements24 is partnering with a leading mining and resources recruitment consultancy in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, to find a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will own the full recruitment cycle, sourcing skilled professionals and coordinating interviews, with a focus on mining and heavy industry roles.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in recruitment, strong stakeholder management, and experience with ATS systems and Boolean and social media sourcing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Boolean search and social media recruiting.
• Experience using ATS systems and recruitment software.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.

About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy serving the vital Mining & Resources sector , is seeking a dedicated and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This role is essential for sourcing and attracting skilled professionals required by major mining and resource companies. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from understanding client needs to ensuring successful hires. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and operational roles within the mining and resources industry.
• Partner closely with hiring managers at client sites to understand their staffing requirements and company culture.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including utilizing specialized job boards and professional networks.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for the role.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients.
• Facilitate the offer process, including background checks and reference verification.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Provide market insights and feedback to clients on talent availability and salary expectations.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a strong employer brand for our client's partners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a specific focus on the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines.
• Familiarity with various sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and social media recruiting.
