About the Role

Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy with offices in Nelspruit , is actively seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead their specialist division focused on the Mining & Resources sector. This strategic role involves identifying and attracting top-tier talent for exploration, extraction, processing, and related corporate functions. You will partner closely with clients to understand their critical operational and leadership needs, developing and executing targeted recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate possesses deep industry knowledge, exceptional sourcing skills, and a proven ability to manage complex, high-volume recruitment campaigns in a demanding sector. Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end recruitment for a wide range of roles in the Mining & Resources sector, including geologists, engineers (mining, mechanical, electrical), metallurgists, operations managers, and safety professionals. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates globally. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key hiring managers and HR leaders within client organizations. Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including technical evaluations and cultural fit interviews. Manage the full offer negotiation and onboarding process. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and talent market dynamics within Mining & Resources. Analyze recruitment data to provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams. Achieve and exceed recruitment targets and client satisfaction metrics. Contribute to employer branding initiatives to enhance the client's attractiveness as an employer.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant specialization in the Mining & Resources sector. Proven success in recruiting for technical and leadership roles within mining operations, exploration, and processing. In-depth knowledge of industry-specific roles, skills, and qualifications. Exceptional ability to source candidates from niche talent pools. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing tools. Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
