Placements24 is seeking an experienced Resort Operations Manager to oversee all facets of a premier resort near Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. The role requires strategic leadership across accommodation, F&B, recreation, and guest services to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in resort/hotel operations, with 3+ years in a senior role, and a relevant degree. Strong budgeting, PMS, and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in resort or hotel operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of success in managing diverse operational departments and achieving financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all resort departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance guest experiences and achieve financial objectives.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements, identifying cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of department managers and staff, fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction, addressing and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and licensing regulations.
