Placements24 in South Africa seeks a seasoned Resort Operations Manager for a premier Bloemfontein resort. You will oversee accommodation, F&B, recreation and guest services to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role demands strong leadership, financial acumen and hands-on on-site management with a focus on profitability and guest satisfaction. You will implement SOPs and build a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years in resort/hotel operations with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale operations and diverse teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and P&L experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with PMS and resort software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
• Passion for guest service and safety.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of all resort departments to ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, guest experience and revenue.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs and monitor performance against targets.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain asset quality and oversee maintenance and upkeep.
• Implement and refine SOPs across all operational areas.
• Handle escalated guest issues and ensure prompt, satisfactory resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation within the resort.
