Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies is seeking a Sales Manager (Telecommunications) to drive new business growth and lead a high-performing sales team. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and build lasting relationships with clients across ICT and office automation sectors.

Based in Paarl, you will forecast sales, collaborate with technical, operations and finance teams, and deliver on revenue targets while mentoring staff to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a Sales Manager role within the Office Automation or ICT industry.
• Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, and solution selling.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• High level of business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development within ICT and office automation sectors.
• Provide strategic sales leadership and coaching to develop high-performing teams.
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
• Lead client engagement initiatives, including prospecting, presentations, and proposals.
• Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
