Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Service Advisor at a Clicks Store in Free State. The role focuses on delivering service excellence at the point of sale, supervising cashiers, managing stock and cash, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will oversee staffing, handle customer queries, promote the Clicks clubcard, and maintain high standards of housekeeping and administration. Prior retail/FMCG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at grade 12 level
• 1 year' experience in a customer facing role in retail/FMCG store operations
• Numeracy and stock management experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and control all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure effective and safe management of stock and cash, minimising shrinkage and maintaining housekeeping and administration standards.
• Train and supervise shop assistants/cashiers to deliver service excellence.
• Ensure sufficient staffing in line with work schedules and labour regulations.
• Resolve customer queries in line with company policies.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard to achieve participation targets.
• Enforce security, cash controls, returns policies and admin duties to minimise stock losses.
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
