Job summary

TFG (The Foschini Group) is seeking a Store Manager to lead a busy Sportscene store in South Africa. You will drive turnover, control costs, and manage stock losses while developing a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service.

With at least 3 years retail experience and 1 year in store leadership, you will implement merchandising standards, manage recruitment and performance, and build customer loyalty through value-driven selling.

Qualifications

• A Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience with a minimum of 1 year store leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving turnover to ensure the achievement of targets
• Controlling expenses
• Managing stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the Company standard
• People management, including recruitment, development of staff, employee relations, performance management
• Executing in-store merchandising strategy and standards
• Ensure customer satisfaction by executing our customer service strategy and fulfilling the demands of our customers
