Placements24 is seeking a motivated Social Support Facilitator to join their Randburg team. This hybrid role combines on-site client interactions in Randburg with remote administrative duties to support individuals and families facing social challenges.

You will connect clients with community services, guide action planning, and facilitate group sessions, while maintaining confidential records and collaborating with other service providers to empower the Gauteng community.

Our client is seeking a motivated and empathetic Social Support Facilitator to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng . This hybrid role focuses on providing essential support and guidance to individuals and families facing social challenges, helping them navigate resources and build resilience. You will be responsible for connecting clients with appropriate community services, offering practical assistance, and facilitating group support sessions. This position involves a mix of on-site client interaction within the Randburg area and remote administrative duties, offering a balanced and engaging work experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine desire to help others, and a solid understanding of social welfare systems. You will play a key part in empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and improve their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a social support, case management, or community outreach role.
• Strong understanding of social issues, community resources, and support systems in South Africa.
• Excellent communication, listening, and empathy skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads effectively.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for communication and record-keeping in a hybrid setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
