Job summary

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer. The Sales Associate role focuses on frontline sales execution, customer service, administration, and adherence to store standards at Springs Mall. You’ll convert showroom visits into sales, demonstrate products, and support the Showroom Manager to achieve sales targets.

Role demands a Grade 12, at least 1 year of retail sales experience, and availability for shifts including weekends and public holidays. Homewares experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• Minimum 1 years’ retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience within a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience (advantageous).
• Clear credit and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional showroom customer experience by converting visits into sales.
• Demonstrate products and communicate features, benefits, pricing, and promotions.
• Capture and process customer orders, payments, refunds, and credits accurately.
• Maintain stock handling and showroom standards.
• Follow compliance, cash handling procedures, and training.
