Homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer. The Sales Associate role focuses on delivering an exceptional showroom experience by converting visits into sales through needs analysis and accurate order processing.

You will engage customers, demonstrate products, and maintain high standards of service, stock, and merchandising on the showroom floor, including shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric as minimum.
• Minimum 1 year retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience advantageous.
• Clear credit and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage customers on showroom floor to understand needs and convert interactions into sales.
• Demonstrate products with features, benefits, pricing and promotions.
• Achieve individual sales targets, conversion rates and productivity goals.
• Capture customer orders, documentation, payments, refunds and credits accurately.
• Maintain showroom standards, stock handling and merchandising.
