Job summary

homechoice is seeking a Sales & Customer Associate at the Key West Shopping Centre in Krugersdorp to deliver an exceptional showroom experience. You will engage customers, demonstrate products, process orders, and support store operations to achieve sales targets.

The role requires Grade 12, at least one year of retail sales experience, and a willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays. Homewares experience is advantageous, and a clear credit/criminal record is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• Minimum 1 year's retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience within a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience (advantageous).
• Clear credit and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage customers on the showroom floor to understand their needs and convert interactions into sales.
• Demonstrate products effectively, communicate features, benefits, pricing, and promotions.
• Achieve individual sales targets, conversion rates, and productivity expectations.
• Capture customer orders, documentation, payments, refunds, and credits accurately and timeously.
• Maintain stock handling and showroom standards; assist with stock movement and floor replenishment.
• Follow cash handling procedures and assist with compliance and policy sign-offs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve showroom targets and support promotions.
