Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Water Resource Engineer for its environmental and engineering services team based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role supports planning, design, and management of water-related infrastructure across South Africa from a fully remote setting.

The position requires a Master's degree in relevant engineering, Pr Eng with ECSA, and 7+ years in water resource design and management, including modeling and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with stakeholders is key.

Formación

• Master's degree in water resource or related civil/environmental engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum 7 years in water resource engineering, including design and management.
• Experience with hydrological and hydraulic modeling software.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement integrated water resource management plans.
• Design and oversee water supply systems, pipelines, and treatment plants.
• Plan and design wastewater collection and treatment systems.
• Develop stormwater management strategies and flood risk assessments.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control for water infrastructure projects.
