Job summary

Our client, a forward-looking engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer (Water Resources) for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will plan, design, and implement water resource management projects including supply schemes, treatment facilities, and distribution networks, collaborating with remote teams and clients.

Requirements include ECSA Pr Eng registration, a Master's in Civil Engineering (Water Resources or Hydrology), 8–12 years' experience in water resources

Qualifications

• Proven experience in water resources civil design and hydraulic infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead design of water resource infrastructure including dams, pipelines, pump stations and treatment plants
• Perform hydraulic modeling using EPANET, MIKE URBAN or equivalent
• Develop detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for water infra
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments
• Ensure compliance with national and provincial regs and standards
• Coordinate with remote teams and clients to deliver projects on time
