Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sports Event Coordinator for our client, a dynamic sports management agency based in Mahikeng, North West. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all logistical elements of sports events, including venue selection, scheduling, and setup.
• Coordinate with athletes, teams, sponsors, media, and volunteers.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Source and manage relationships with external vendors, such as catering, security, and AV providers.
• Develop event marketing and promotional plans to drive participation and attendance.
• Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues promptly.
• Manage registration processes and participant communications.
• Develop and implement post-event evaluation reports, analyzing successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and insurance regulations.
• Stay abreast of trends and innovations in sports event management within the Leisure & Sports sector.
