Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sound Designer to join our Paarl, Western Cape studio on-site. You will design, record, edit, and implement immersive game sounds, from Foley to UI feedback, collaborating closely with designers, composers, and artists to craft compelling audio narratives.

The role requires a strong portfolio and 5+ years of professional game sound design experience, with proficiency in DAWs and middleware like Wwise or FMOD, and familiarity with Unity/Unreal Engine.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sound design for video games.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse sound design work.
• Proficiency in DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase) and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD).
• Experience with game engines and their audio systems (Unity, Unreal).
• Solid understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio mixing.
