You will record, edit, and mix assets, manage large sound libraries, and mentor junior designers. Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, and middleware like Wwise or FMOD are key tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Sound Designer in the Arts & Entertainment industry with a strong portfolio.
• Expert proficiency in DAWs: Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Cubase.
• Extensive knowledge of sound synthesis, audio processing, Foley, and mixing techniques.
• Experience with game audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Sound Design, Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment in Midrand, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and implement original sound effects and music for games, films, and interactive installations.
• Collaborate with directors, animators, and other creatives to translate artistic intent into compelling audio experiences.
