Job summary

Cashbuild in Tembisa West is seeking a Sales Coordinator to grow sales through active customer interaction, plan reading of building plans, and accurate quotations. You will ensure cost-effective, efficient delivery and maintain merchandising standards.

The role requires Grade 12 with several years of related experience, strong customer service, English and local language skills, and proficiency with computer systems. A leadership mindset and planning ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or 10 years related experience.
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and local language spoken in the area.
• Above average numeric skills and strong organising abilities.
• Computer literacy and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control for special orders.
• Reading building plans and ensuring correct quotations within timeframes.
• Manage telephone, calls, follow ups and customer communications.
• Conduct competitor analysis to remain competitive.
• Deliveries: manage efficient service and accurate rates; timely dispatch.
• Customer service desk management and handling complaints.
• Maintain store standards including price changes and planograms.
• People management: supervise assistants and drivers; ensure coverage.
• OHSA safety compliance and PPE usage; security awareness.
