Job summary

Cashbuild seeks a Sales Co-ordinator to grow sales through customer interaction, costed building plans, and accurate quotations. Maintain housekeeping, merchandising standards, and an efficient delivery service to customers.

The role requires strong customer service, English and local language communication, and the ability to work under pressure, with good numeric skills and computer literacy. An engaging team leader stance is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 + 5 years related experience or 10 years’ work related experience.
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area.
• Above average numeric skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate and able to use basic store systems.

Responsibilities

• Issue and follow up quotations to generate sales.
• Read building plans and ensure quotations are accurate and timely.
• Manage telephone and follow up calls; ensure follow ups.
• Deliver efficient delivery service with correct rates and times.
• Maintain customer service desk and resolve complaints.
• Uphold store standards and implement price changes.
• Supervise staff and coordinate backups; manage daily duties.
• Ensure OHSA safety standards are followed and observed.
