Job summary

Cashbuild in Tembisa West is seeking a Sales Co to drive sales through active customer interaction, accurate quotations, and costed building plans. You will ensure proper housekeeping and merchandising, and support a cost-effective delivery service.

The role demands a Grade 12 plus 5 years of related experience, excellent numeric skills, and proven customer service ability. You will oversee deliveries, planograms, and plan reading while coordinating a small team and maintaining OHSA safety

Qualifications

Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or 10 years work-related history.
Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
Ability to communicate in English and local language; strong numeric skills.

Responsibilities

Issuing and following up quotations to generate sales.
Quote process and control for special orders.
Read building plans to ensure quotations are accurate and timely.
Manage telephone calls, follow ups and customer contact.
Conduct competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness.
Promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card).
Deliveries: manage efficient delivery service and accurate rates.
Ensure deliveries are dispatched within required timeframes and communicate delays.
Provide effective customer service desk management and resolve complaints.
Maintain store standards: ready-for-business checklists, planograms, price changes.
Lead and back up General Assistants, Sales Advisors and forklift drivers.
