Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Sales Co for external applications, based in Limpopo. The role focuses on growing sales through customer interactions, handling quotations, and ensuring cost-effective delivery services.

You will uphold housekeeping, merchandising standards, and promote loyalty programs while managing deliveries and customer service excellence. The position requires Grade 12 with substantial experience, strong numeracy, plan-reading ability, and excellent communication in English

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or 10 years' work related experience.
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Above average numeric skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.
• Proven strong organising, planning and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control of special orders.
• Reading building plans and ensuring quotations are correct within timeframes.
• Manage telephone, answer and return calls, ensure follow ups.
• Conduct competitor analysis to ensure store competitiveness.
• Communicate bulk deposit transfers to customers.
• Promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card Customers).
• Manage an efficient delivery service with correct rates.
• Deliveries dispatched within required time limits; handle delays with customers.
• Record, follow up and resolve customer complaints; ensure excellent service.
• Maintain store standards and implement planograms.
• Ensure staff are present and trained for responsibilities; backup coverage.
• Ensure OHSA safety standards are followed and protective clothing used.
• Be aware of suspicious activity and maintain password security.
