Placements24 is seeking a Senior Account Executive for a fully remote position within South Africa. You will drive revenue by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in a defined territory, leveraging consultative selling and strong relationship-building skills.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in direct B2B SaaS sales, with proven pipeline management and closing abilities. You will work independently in a remote setting, using CRM tools and collaborating with marketing

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a direct sales role, with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales pipeline and close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of the sales funnel and buyer journey.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Reside within South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify potential new clients through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, social selling, and networking.
• Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand prospective clients' business challenges and how our client's solutions can address them.
• Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to specific client needs.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
