Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Account Executive for a fully remote sales team serving South Africa. The role seeks a proven B2B SaaS sales performer who can drive revenue and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, the successful candidate will build lasting relationships with decision-makers, conduct tailored product demonstrations, forecast pipelines, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to capture market opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably SaaS or tech.
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficient in conducting virtual meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities through multiple channels.
• Conduct high-impact product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide market feedback.
• Accurately forecast sales, manage pipelines, and report on performance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
