Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Senior Retail Operations Coordinator to join our client in Klerksdorp. The role supports hybrid work with on-site leadership to manage inventory, vendor relations, and process improvements across multiple retail locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in retail operations or logistics, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. You will report to the head office and drive efficiency, cost savings, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in inventory management, procurement, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize inventory management processes, including stock levels, ordering, and stocktakes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across all retail locations.
• Monitor store performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Support the rollout of new retail initiatives, systems, and technologies.
• Conduct regular audits of store operations to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
• Prepare operational reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Provide training and guidance to store staff on operational procedures and best practices.
• Manage and maintain operational budgets, tracking expenses and identifying savings opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between the head office and retail store teams on operational matters.
