Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard stock accuracy within their Klerksdorp facilities. The role collaborates with warehouse and procurement teams to manage stock movement, run audits, and improve inventory processes in a hybrid setup that includes on-site work and remote data tasks.

You will apply strong analytical skills and a deep knowledge of WMS and inventory software to maintain real-time data accuracy and drive optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
• Manage inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring real-time accuracy.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely replenishment and efficient stock rotation.
